Cause of fire deemed to be accidental. ACT Fire & Rescue are about to depart the scene. Crews will closely monitor the premises during the night to ensure re-ignition does not occur.

Update two – Fire extinguished in Braddon apartment
ACT Fire & Rescue are about to depart the scene. The scene of the fire will be handed to ACT Policing to investigate.
Update – Fire extinguished in Braddon apartment
ACT Fire & Rescue are currently ventilating the stairwell area. ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are also on scene supporting operations with no injuries reported. Update to follow.
