Tuggeranong Unit

Pialligo Unit

The functions of the Pialligo Unit are:
- Communications support including operating the Forward Communications Unit (FCU)
- Assist the Incident Management Team (IMT)
- Maintain TRN radios ready for operational use by the Services of the ESA
- Logistical Support for operations and community events
Community Education Team
The ACTSES has recently established a Community Education Team. The team is responsible for developing educational material and to delivering community education presentations and discussions to the ACT community on behalf of the ACTSES. Such presentations may be made to special interest groups, schools and college students, members of the various Community Councils, and other groups as identified.
The Community Education Team also attend displays at shopping centres, employment fairs, festivals and fetes, and at other places identified as an opportunity to educate the community about any aspect of ACTSES business. The Community Education Team is aligned with the Pialligo Unit.
