Headquarters Support Group

This group comprises:

Capability Support Team

This group provides:

  • Moulage – realistic and sophisticated mock injuries used for training emergency services, medical and military personnel.
  • Service Delivery – including the movement of ACTSES vehicles and provision of logistical support.

Community Education

The Community Education Team works to increase the resilience of the community in relation to storm, flood and other hazards. They provide educational presentations and activities for a range of organisations including schools, youth development organisations and community service providers.

Operations Support

Operations Support Team volunteers have a lead role in operational training, leadership development and exercise planning. They may also provide support during emergency management activities, including operations.

Welfare

The Welfare Team comprises ACTSES Peer Support Volunteers. This Team is responsible for supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of all ACTSES members.
