Reissued - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for ACT

A Severe Thunderstorm warning has been reissued specifically for the ACT by the Bureau of Meteorology. http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN21036.shtml ACT SES are monitoring the situation and continue to work with ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service and colleagues from ACT Government. All crews are ready to respond to Requests For Assistance. ACT SES urges people to: - Keep away from trees and fallen power lines - Do not walk, ride or drive through water - Move your car under cover - If possible bring pets inside; and - Turn headlights on when driving and drive to the conditions Further flood safety information is available on the ESA website.
