Firefighters extinguished a kitchen fire tonight in a Kambah home.
ACT Fire & Rescue was called to Crozier Crescent just after 7pm. The fire was contained to the kitchen due to the quick work of crews.
Seven people were at home at the time but self-evacuated before services arrived on scene.
All were assessed by ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics. No injuries reported.
ACT Fire & Rescue reminds all Canberrans "Don't stop looking, while you're cooking".
Three pumpers, the breathing apparatus van and a commander attended the scene.
