ACT Fire & Rescue responded to a gas bottle fire in Evatt on Tuesday shortly before 7pm.
Crews discovered a 9kg gas bottle and BBQ well alight and worked quickly to extinguish the fire.
The fire was contained to the outside of the house, and the area sustained minimal damage. All occupants were able to safely evacuate the area.
Two pumpers, a Breathing Apparatus Support vehicle and a Commander attended.
