ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service are currently attending a single-vehicle crash on Black Mountain Road.
The lone, male occupant is trapped and, due to the steep embankment on which the car came to rest, firefighters had to stabilise the vehicle so that intensive care paramedics could gain access to him.
The patient is in a stable condition and is being extricated for transport to The Canberra Hospital.
