The ACT Rural fire Service advises that a hazard-reduction burn is currently taking place in Kambah.
A land holder on Kambah Pool Road has been issued a permit to pile-burn some debris in order to reduce the bushfire fuel hazard on the property.
The burn should be concluded by approximately 12pm and will result in smoke being visible in the area until that time. The land holder also has a fire-fighting appliance on standby as a contingency.
Residents are reminded that a permit is always required to burn-off during bushfire season.
