Fire in Red Hill

Crews are currently on scene of a switchboard fire at a unit block in Red Hill.

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) were alerted to the incident by calls to Emergency Triple Zero (000) just after 2:53pm.

Firefighters have controlled the fire and have it contained.

ACTF&R have evacuated 10 people from the unit block.

Three pumpers, Bronto, BA support van and Commander have responded, with one unit from ACT Ambulance Service in attendance on standby.
