Pedestrian struck by motor vehicle in O'Connor

A 67 year old woman has been transported to The Canberra Hospital after being struck by a motor vehicle on Macarthur Avenue in O'Connor this evening.

The woman suffered head injuries and a fractured leg and was attended by Intensive Care staff. She is in a serious but stable condition.

During an afternoon walk her dog ran onto the road. The woman chased the dog when she was hit by a vehicle.
