The ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT Fire & Rescue is working to extinguish a grass fire burning near Majura Road, Majura. Fire crews from Canberra Airport's Aviation Fire & Rescue service have also assisted.

The ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT Fire & Rescue has 10 units on scene.
The fire is located approximately one kilometre north of Majura Park.
The fire is approximately 100 metres x 300 metres in size and is under control.
Fire crews are now conducting mopping up operations.
