A 19-year-old suffering minor smoke inhalation has been transported to The Canberra Hospital following a house fire on Sturt Avenue in Narrabundah.
ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics assessed the woman at the scene before taking her to hospital in a stable condition.
Firefighters have brought the fire under control and are monitoring for hot spots throughout the property.
Three ACT Fire & Rescue pumpers, the Bronto Aerial Platform, Hazardous Materials Unit and two commanders were called to the incident at 11:38pm.
Crews found the house well alight, with the fire believed to have started in the kitchen.
Further investigations are underway.
