A woman has been rushed to hospital this morning following a single vehicle collision on the Barton Highway in Gungahlin.
The ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue were called the accident just past the intersection of Gundaroo Road city bound at 12:22am.
Crews arrived to find the 22 year old woman trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters had to remove the drivers side door of the car to remove her.
She was stablised at the scene by intensive care paramedics then transferred to the Canberra Hospital in a serious condition with facial and leg injuries in a stable condition.
