ESA Bush/Grass fire – ADVICE

The ACT Rural Fire Service is working to extinguish a forest fire burning at in the western region of Namadgi National Park.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

The ACT Rural Fire Service has two Remote Area Firefighting Teams (RAFT) and two waterbombing helicopters on scene.

The fire is located near Mount GininI.

The fire is approximately 26 hectares in size and is being controlled.

The fire is burning at a slow rate.

At the current fire danger level of low-moderate fires can be easily controlled.

There is little to no risk to life and property from this fire.
