The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received a total of 24 calls for help as the result of strong winds this afternoon.
ACTSES units and ACT Fire & Rescue crews are responding to the calls right across the Territory.
10 jobs are currently outstanding.
There have been no reports of serious damage at this time.
ACT Fire & Rescue has also attended two motor vehicle accidents in Tuggeranong and a fallen tree on Northbourne Avenue which temporarily blocked all southbound lanes.
