There are widespread power outages and powerlines down.
Evoenergy advises people to stay at least 10m away from fallen or damaged powerlines and report incidents to 131 093.
Approximately 9,000 people are currently without power.

Evoenergy has advised outages will continue well into tomorrow, and with temperatures forecast to reach 37 degrees people should plan accordingly.
