Update - ADVICE - Grass fire at Beard

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service has extinguished a grass fire at Beard.

Fire crews are now mopping up the scene on the corner of Nimrod and Oaks Estate Roads.

A total of 18 units responded to the incident plus two helicopters.

The fire bordered the Molonglo River and covered approximately three-and-a-half hectares.
