Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) will be conducting a hazard reduction burn tomorrow morning, Saturday the 19th of November at Tuggeranong Homestead, just off Johnson Drive in Rivhardson.
Five large piles of vegetation will be burned-off between 9:00am and 3:00pm with an ACTRFS heavy tanker, a CAFS foam tanker and a command vehicle in attendance.
Residents who suffer from atshma or who are sensitive to smoke are advised to stay inside and avoid the area if possible.
