Update three - ACTSES responds to calls for help

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 131 requests for assistance following the wet weather late yesterday.

Volunteer units are today responding to the 40 outstanding jobs, which are mostly fallen trees. Residents are continuing to call the ACTSES for help after identifying damage to property.

The ACTSES, ACT Fire & Rescue, the ACT Rural Fire Service and Transport Canberra and City Services worked together last night to complete more than 90 jobs.

For storm and flood assistance call the ACTSES on 132 500.
