Bushwalker treated at Namadgi National Park

Intensive care paramedics are currently treating a bush walker post collapse in the Namadgi National Park.

The ACT Ambulance Service was alerted to the incident to by a call to Emergency Triple Zero (000) just after 10:30am.

A 49 year old male will shortly be transported to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition for further assessment.

The ACT Ambulance Service reminds bushwalkers to ensure they carry an adequate amount of water and use a GPS location device, like the Emergency+ App that provides accurate location information in an emergency.
