ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) are currently on scene at Chapman Primary School, Perry Drive, Chapman following reports of a strong odour.
With no cause for alarm, ACTF&R have evacuated the school only as a precaution while the source of the smell is investigated with contractors assisting.
Hazmat and breathing apparatus units are in attendance with crews ventilating the area and conducting atmospheric monitoring.
ACTF&R report no risk to residents in the area.
