ADVICE - Update twelve - Bushfire at Mt Clear

The ACT Rural Fire Service is continuing to patrol a bushfire at Mt Clear near the ACT/NSW border.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

The ACT Rural Fire Service has 5 trucks on scene, manned by 13 firefighters. Resourcing has been reduced due to minimal fire activity and the lower fire danger rating in comparison to the weekend.

There was a light shower on the fire ground overnight which assisted crews who were monitoring potential flare-ups.

Firefighters are confident the fire will remain within containment lines today given the considerable effort by crews over the past few days working in the remote location against weather challenges.

The fire remains approximately 42 hectares in size.
