The driver of one of the vehicles has been extricated by firefighters after being trapped in the wreckage for almost half an hour.
He's been assessed on scene by intensive care paramedics and will be transported to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with a shoulder injury and multiple lacerations and abrasions.
