Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 260 calls for help.
The storm cell passing over the ACT is bringing with it, heavy rain.
Motorists should drive to the conditions and not drive, ride or walk through flood water.
Parents are urged to know where their children are and keep them away from all outdoor water sources. Sometimes water can suddenly move through hidden drains and pipes. There can also be snags and other things in floodwater which can trap you under water.
Residents requiring assistance should call the ACTSES on 132-500.
