Update eight - Storm causes flooding and damage

The ACT State Emergency Service has received a total of 320 calls for help as a result of the storm activity yesterday afternoon.

Crews from the ACTSES, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACTRFS and TAMS are still working to respond to priority one jobs before standing down overnight.

There is currently over 200 jobs still to be tasked.

Fresh teams will commence at 8 o'clock this morning to continue the clean up.

The majority of calls have been for leaking roofs, flooding and fallen trees and branches.

ACTEW AGL personnel will continue to work overnight to restore power to about three-and-a half thousand customers who are still experiencing a black out.
