Update five - 173 calls for help following wet and windy weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 173 calls for help since midnight this morning following the wet and windy weather.

ACTSES, ACT Fire & Rescue, the ACT Rural Fire Service and the Territory and Municipal Services Directorate are responding to calls across a widespread area of the ACT.

Majority of calls are for trees and branches across roads and pathways.

Minor damage reported.

ACTSES volunteers will continue to work through the night. Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
