Baby boy delivered at Kambah home by ACT Ambulance Service

The ACT Ambulance Service has today been called to a home in Kambah to assist in delivering a baby boy.

At 11.23am an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call was made by a grandmother.

ACT Ambulance Service Call Takers provided pre-arrival advice whilst intensive care paramedics were dispatched.

On arrival, the birth was imminent and paramedics assisted immediately in the delivery at home.

There were no complications in the delivery of the baby boy.

Mother and baby boy are both well and were taken to the Canberra Hospital.
