The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) advise that tomorrow’s hazard reduction burn at the ActewAGL Fyshwick Sewage Treatment Plant on Dairy Road has been postponed.
ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service have been on scene at a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Wiluna and Ipswich Streets, Fyshwick.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to remove the passenger side door of a car to free a male patient.
ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics have treated two patients for minor multiple injuries. A 28-year-old male and a female patient, age unknown, were both taken to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition for assessment.
ACT Fire & Rescue will depart the scene shortly.
Level eight of the building will now remain closed to staff for the remainder of the day.
