Update on two vehicle accident at Barton

ACT Fire & Rescue crews have released female from vehicle. Female was passenger not driver as earlier stated.

Crews used hydraulic tools to remove passenger door.

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics have treated the 28-year-old female for lower limb injuries and transported her to The Canberra Hospital.

Paramedics also transported three other patients to The Canberra Hospital for assessment. A female aged approx four, a male aged approx 13, and a female aged in her late 20’s.

All patients in a stable condition.

ACT Fire & Rescue on scene of a two vehicle accident at intersection of National Crt and Sydney Ave, Barton.

Crews are using hydraulic tools to release a female driver from a vehicle.

Update four on smoke from building in Dickson

ACT Fire & Rescue crews have concluded their search of the building and have not been able to locate the source of the smoke.

Crews will depart the scene shortly.

Update three on smoke from building in Dickson

All seven storeys of the building have been evacuated as ACT Fire & Rescue crews conduct ventilation and atmospheric monitoring operations.

Crews have used thermal imaging equipment to locate the source of the smoke which at this stage has not been found.
