ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service have been on scene at Belconnen Skate Park, Emu Bank, Belconnen attending to a male patient following an accident.
15-year-old male was initially unconscious.
ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics removed the patient from the skate park in a stretcher. Intensive care paramedics have treated the patient for minor injuries and are transporting him to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

ACT Fire & Rescue have now departed the site where the fire took place and have handed the scene over to ANU security as final clean up operations have been concluded.

Investigation into the cause of the fire are still continuing. Initial assessments identified the cause of the fire to have started from a chemical experiment in a fume cupboard.
