Fire training exercise in Narrabundah tomorrow

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACT F&R) will conduct a Fire Investigation Training exercise tomorrow, Thursday 23 February 2012, at 5 Nyeena Place Narrabundah, between 10:00am and 3:00pm.

The training exercise will involve the extinguishment of a number of small fires contained to a single room within the house to assist ACT F&R by providing a realistic training opportunity for firefighters.

The fires will then be investigated using the latest fire investigation techniques by trainee fire investigators. This will enable the firefighters to develop their investigative skills in a number of different areas.

ACT F&R will have appropriate safety measures in place to ensure there is no impact on neighbouring properties.
