ESA prepared to support QLD bushfires

The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) has today received a formal request for support from the National Resource Sharing Centre to assist with firefighting efforts across Queensland.

There are 30 ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT Parks and Conservation Service firefighters who are prepared to be deployed as needed.

Personnel specialising in fire behaviour, logistics, planning and public information have also been put forward as available resources, if required.

ESA is prepared to provide further support into the coming weeks with the deployment of more volunteers and staff if requested.
