The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) conducts an annual community awareness campaign in September to educate Canberrans about preparations they should undertake to protect their properties during a storm.
This coincides with historically increased storm activity in the region.
In 2012/2013 the ACTSES is partnering with NRMA Insurance to deliver the annual ACT StormSafe campaign for the fifth consecutive year.
The campaign is designed to educate you and your family about how to prepare for storms and encourage you to take action to reduce the impact when storms do occur in the Territory.
