Community consultation is a very important part of the ESA Station Upgrade and Relocation Strategy. The community is being consulted during the early stages of the project to ensure their input informs further development. The community will have a further opportunity to comment on the proposals during the statutory consultation process for any subsequent Development Application approval.
Initial consultation was conducted with:
- ESA operational staff;
- Neighbouring property owners and occupiers of the new sites and the sites being vacated; and
- Community members, particularly those in Tuggeranong, North West Belconnen and Belconnen.
