Update – ACTSES respond to storm damage

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has stood down all units following the completion of jobs from the storm activity across Canberra yesterday.

The ACTSES received a total of 86 requests for assistance from the community.

The team would like to thank ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service and Transport Canberra and City Services for their assistance.

ACTSES remind the Canberra community to #BeStormReady and to visit the ESA website for information on how to prepare for a storm.

In a life-threatening emergency call Emergency Triple Zero (E000). For assistance during a storm or flood call ACTSES on 132 500.
