ESA Bush/Grass fire – Paddy’s River – ADVICE

ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT Fire & Rescue is working to extinguish a grass fire burning at Freshford Road, Paddy’s River.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

There are four units responding to the scene.

The fire is located near Freshford Equestrian Centre.

The fire is approximately 50 metres x 5 metres in size and is being controlled.

The fire is burning at a slow rate and is heading in a east direction.

The Fire Danger Rating where this fire is burning is HIGH.

Fires burning in HIGH conditions can be controlled.

Well prepared and actively defended houses can offer safety during a fire.

Embers may be blown ahead of the fire.

Spot fires can occur close to the main fire.
