Storm and Flood Assistance
At 0710 this morning the ACT Rural Fire Service deployed a strike team Nerriga Road, West of Braidwood, NSW. The team is made up of three heavy tankers, two medium units and a command unit.
Their objectives are to protect properties, attack and contain the main fire and contain spot fires. The strike team are working in a district with a predicted Total Fire Ban and Very High to Severe Fire Danger Rating conditions.
