Storm and Flood Assistance
ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and the ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) have extinguished a grass fire in Oaks Estate.
Crews were alerted to the incident on River Street at 11:32pm and responded with four ACTF&R pumpers and three ACTRFS units.
The fire was approx 100m x 50m in size but was very quickly extinguished and crews will remain on scene for a while longer, mopping-up.
Residents in the area may see some smoke, but no properties are under threat.
