Update - Building fire at Woden

The fire has been extinguished. Quick work by fire crews prevented it from spreading into the roof space.

The fire was located in a former administration building at the site that it's believed has been not used for some time.

Firefighters have now commenced mopping up and checking for hot spots.

The cause will be investigated.

The initial estimated damage is minimal.
