ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished a small fire inside the kitchen of an apartment tonight at Harrison.
Fire crews rushed to the Fusion Apartments premises on Flemington Road after receiving an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call just after 8:30pm.
Firefighters arrived to find a fire inside a dishwasher and quickly extinguished it.
The female occupant safely self evacuated.
Fire crews are now ventilating smoke from the apartment. Fire damage was contained to the dishwasher and immediate surrounds.
