Smell of smoke being investigated at Benjamin Offices - Belconnen

Firefighters have evacuated approximately 5,000 workers from the Benjamin Offices on Chan Street, Belconnen as crews investigate a smell of smoke.

No active fire has been found.

ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters are using thermal imaging equipment to try and identify the source of the smoke from the plant room. At this stage, the air conditioning unit appears to have been the cause of the smell of smoke.
