Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT Rural Fire Service has received a formal request from Victorian fire authorities to assist in operations in south-east Gippsland.
The five-day deployment will include nine volunteer firefighters who will be deployed to the Bairnsdale area in five fire appliances departing the ACT tomorrow morning.
The team will be forming part of a larger New South Wales firefighting contingent.
