Fire extinguished in city restaurant

ACT Fire & Rescue are currently on scene at the Mezzalira Ristorante, Melbourne Building, London Circuit, City following a fire on a stove.

Fire was extinguished by staff.

No injuries have been reported and minimal damage.

ACT Fire & Rescue are currently clearing the smoke from the area.

Fire caused by cloth material on a hot stove.

Two fire pumpers, the Hazardous Materials Unit and one Command Officer are on scene.
