Update – Two teenagers at Camp Cottermouth fall down an embankment

The two male patients were walking around a trail and have fallen down an embankment of approximately 20 metres.

A 14-year-old male has a leg injury whilst a 15-year-old male is currently wedged in a fork of a tree. The male is experiencing some back pain and has some minor lacerations.

Verticle rescue equipment is being used to move the 15-year-old patient.

Two four-wheel-drive vehicles from ACT Fire & Rescue with a four-wheel-drive vehicle and a command vehicle from the ACT Ambulance Service are on scene. Crews walked approximately 120 metres to reach the patients.
