Update – Gas pipeline ruptured in West MacGregor

The gas pipeline was ruptured by a contractor working at the front of a house being constructed.

The pipeline caught alight and is currently burning several metres from the front of a house being constructed.

Firefighters have wet down the front of the building and imposed a 200 metre exclusion zone as a precaution.
