The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Weather Warning for the ACT for widespread rain and damaging winds this afternoon and tonight.
The ACT State Emergency Service advise residents should take precautions now to secure properties to prepare for the onset of the deteriorating weather conditions.
